Intel has opened up its new Fab 9 factory in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The new factory is a part of Intel's previously announced $3.5 billion investment to equip its New Mexico operations for advanced semiconductor packaging technologies, namely Foveros, a 3D stacked packaging technology that stacks compute tiles vertically.

Samsung has now officially announced the new 990 EVO PCIe 5.0 M2 SSD series, supporting both PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 5.0 x2 interfaces, standard M.2 2280 form-factor, and coming in 1TB and 2TB capacities. According to Samsung, the new 990 EVO SSD series is up to 43 percent faster compared to the 970 EVO Plus.

Samsung has now officially and fully detailed its new Exynos 2400 SoC which will be powering the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ in certain regions, including Europe. The 4nm LPP+ Exynos 2400 SoC will have a 10-core CPU part with Cortex-X4 Prime core and Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3 architecture.

Geforce NOW getting G-SYNC, 24 new G-SYNC gaming monitors, displays and TVs, and more

In addition to its RTX 40 SUPER series lineup announcement at CES 2024, Nvidia also announced some other updates, including a list of games that will be getting RTX updates, including DLSS and/or ray tracing. Nvidia Geforce is also getting a few updates including G-Sync support, and Nvidia was keen to note that there are 24 new G-SYNC monitors, displays, and TVs coming soon.
