I will wait and see what really happens, if Nvidia manages to steels ATI’s thunder with their new card then the winning party deserves the thunder, business is war! How is it that you know either company will come out on top before it actually happens?

This is nothing but NVIDIA spewing nonsense to try and steel ATI’s thunder once they release the HD 6900 series. They are obviously aware that ATI plans on mopping up the competition or lack thereof.

I prefer Nvidia graphics cards here (fanboy), but let's not fool ourselves! If the GTX 580 does become a reality I don't expect it to be much faster than a heavily overclocked GTX 480, perhaps higher overclocks than current 480 cards but nothing dramatically groundbreaking. I'll wait for the smaller die shrinks with larger improvements to the existing architecture! I would like to see AMD's 6000 Series perform better than GF100/GF110 to encourage some pricing competition to lower prices for all of us!
