Its just nearing to 2 months since Windows Phone 7 is out. How many apps did Android have in its 8th week? That's the comparison you need to make Scott. Windows Phone 7 might take off OR tank in future. Who knows. But this comparison is immature. By the way, After using WP& I tried to use iPhone. iPhone usability sucks in comparison to that of WP7.

@Scott you missed out on gReadie then. It's an RSS reader based on Google Reader and it's slick-smooth. Quality varies from app to app as it does on any of the platforms; it's a bummer you had to default for the other reasons you mentioned. Windows Phone 7 rocks.

The number of apps becomes inconsequential if the apps are rubbish. I owned a HTC HD7 but soon sold it for a number of reasons, one of them being the performance of third-party apps. Scrolling and the UI in general was so jerky that is really destroyed my user-experience (I also couldn't connect to my company's Exchange server because my username contained a space, and the default "home page" in the browser is Yahoo Mobile and it's not possible to change this). Try any RSS reader on Windows Phone 7 and you'll see what I mean - none of them are buttery smooth like the WP7 UI.
