I've worked several Atom Netbooks and indeed the performance is horrible, takes forever to boot, runs warm, and the battery life isn't spectacular as many manufacturers uses 3 cells battery. Simple tasks like open the web browser, media player and office takes forever, enough to drive everyone crazy.

lol these comment pages has turned into pure fanboy wars ever since Warrior made all his sock accounts to down-vote people. I had an Atom netbook, most frustrating CPU I've ever dealt with, if I really needed a Netbook now, I would rather wait for 28nm from AMD, than waiting for Atom's singlecore performance which is laughable.

I fear that AMD is loosing its advantage fast. I think that , at least the 2.13 GHz Atom will surpass Brazos in many benchmarks. AMD doesn't get a break like Intel had with its Atoms ... like selling crap for 2 or 3 years and getting away with it. AMD has just launched Brazos and I was wondering why would they hurry and launch Trinity early next year ... obviously THIS is why ... I'm sure Trinity will smoke ANY Intel Atom on the market next year but now ... idk ...
