Samsung has made a final decision to halt the production and sales of the Galaxy Note 7. After some of the replaced devices burst in flames, Samsung management decided to make a very unpopular, but necessary decision to stop the sales and production of Galaxy Note 7.
2x A73, 4X A53 and 4X A35
MediaTek has started making rather unique chips and its strategy was even followed by some of its competition. Helio X20 / X25 was the world’s first deca-core SoC that did a decent job, but Helio X30 again packs deca-core with an impressive alignment.
Faster and slower
Qualcomm is returning to the two high end chips strategy and you can expect to see two variants of what we call Snapdragon 830 today. They will end up with two different product numbers, one being higher than the other.
While many speculated about the 10nm soon-to-be-launched Snapdragon 830, a Chinese company Vernee, has announced its first model, the Vernee Apollo 2 Pro, featuring Snapdragon 830.

Despite the fact that our sources were confident that iPhone 7 had an Intel modem, we sat on the story as we could not believe that Apple would be ready for such a risk after all, Jobs' Mob is not famous for being cutting edge.
As Snapdragon 830 is 10nm
We are quite surprised that few people concentrated on one of the major downsides of the Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus – its clunky quad core A10 Chip. Far from being cutting edge, Apple is using 16nm and not the 10nm manufacturing process as many expected. Most of its competitors will soon announce their 10nm SoC.
Faster version of 16nm Helio P20
Just as it did with Helio X20, Mediatek is about to release a faster than the base original of the P20 called the P25.
Catching up in the high end
MediaTek has changed its strategy for the high end market to make more competitive chips. The company plans to launch its first USA products this year as it has the Cat 6. capable modems but with 10nm announcement it wants to get closer to the big names in phone SoCs including Qualcomm, Samsung and Apple.
Changing car design
Nvidia showed us an awesome demo of a completely rendered Nissan car with 100s of thousand parts in VR that meant we could see inside the car. It was possible to see millions of details inside the car, even before it is manufactured. This could well change the way cars are designed in the future.
Professional Quadro VR
We had a chance to see the VR deployed in a professional scenerio with a few demos that were compiling structural building data and showed us a simulations of buildings via HTC Vive glasses.
