Not worth doing

One of AMD's recently released Ryzen 2000 series CPUs, codename Pinnacle Ridge, has had its top taken off by Der8auer showing that these are still soldered to the IHS and that such a process is simply not worth doing due to small temperature differences.

Found it all by itself 

Intel has fixed a hole in the configuration of several CPU series that allow an attacker to alter the behaviour of the chip's SPI Flash memory.

German Amazon has leaked one of the AMD's upcoming Pinnacle Ridge CPUs, the Ryzen 5 2600X, with the shipping date set for April 19th.

AMD will keep AM4 and TR4 sockets

A fresh leak of AMD's CPU roadmap has leaked online confirming some of the previous rumors and codenames as well as giving a glimpse of new HEDT, CPU and APU codenames that will come in 2020.

The lineup includes four SKUs, ranging from $199 to $369

Following a recent leak where we saw some of the first Ryzen 2000 CPU benchmarks -  codenamed Pinnacle Ridge - we now have the full set of slides which show the launch lineup, scheduled for April, as well as more performance and feature details for both CPUs and the new X470 chipset.

Not thermal paste like Raven Ridge APUs

In the aftermath of Raven Ridge delidding, which revealed that it uses thermal paste under the IHS, AMD's Robert Hallock took to Reddit to note that this won't be the case with the upcoming Pinnacle Ridge CPUs, based on 12nm manufacturing process and usually known as the Ryzen + CPUs.

Celeron, Pentium, Core i3, and Core i5 SKUs 

As Intel is expected to reveal the rest of its Coffee Lake-S lineup sometime next month, it comes as no surprise that some of those SKUs have already leaked online.
