Driver was late
We managed to find out that Nvidia's GTX 590 dual GPU card is going to be a bit late. Nothing to worry about as the card is pulled from originally planned March 22nd to March 24th as driver simply wasn't ready in time.

Of course, you should take all reasons regarding the launch date with a grain of salt as Nvidia won't go official with the details but some sources are saying that the driver was late and that the card should be ready for a March 24th launch.

It isn't a big deal as the card will launch in the same week as planned but on Thursday rather then Tuesday. We'll just have to wait a bit longer.

i wonder if it has something to do whit the proformence of the HD 6990?

I think they need to tweak the drivers to get higher frame rates whit lower render quality to get close to the hd 6990 couse whit the TDP and PCIe specs they obviously hit the wall.

This will be the fastest and most powerful card in the world bar none! It will also be the most expensive. So two 560's in SLI are enough to out pace a $h!tty990 and hundreds of dollars cheaper! I already proved that.

I was SERIOUSLY looking at the by-line here ("driver was late") and thinking it was a little tongue-in-cheek jokule about the delivery driver sleeping in before taking the first load of GTX590 cards to market!! :P
