Dell has introduced an energy-efficient OptiPlex 755 desktop which has managed to win Energy Star 4.0 compliance along with a “Gold” rating from EPEAT.

According to Techspot the machine can include up to 4GB of DDR2 and a Core 2 Duo CPU. The only down side it that the power reduction may restrict what graphics cards are available for it.

Dell is hoping that the desktop will attract businesses hoping to go green and reduce their power consumption.
