Cosmos 1000, the new high performance chassis

Cooler Master has announced a new chassis, the Cosmos 1000. It is a high performance flag-ship chassis with a sleek exterior and a specially designed interior for optimal thermal performance and good noise reduction.

The new Cosmos has a 3mm aluminum front panel with soundproof materials so the sound of the system is kept inside the chassis. As for the cooling, the Cosmos uses concepts like "stack effect" and "negative pressure effect", and also filtered air intake ventilation design, thermal HDD pads, side removable VGA cooling tunnel and built-in slots for liquid cooling solutions.

The case comes with 5 exposed 5.25" and six hidden 3.5" drive bays. The I/O Panel comes with four USB 2.0, one IEEE 1394, one Audio, one SPK and one eSATA port. Anyway this chassis is a premium high-end case with dimensions (W)266 x (H)598 x (D)628 mm and net weight of 16.9kg, so it will take a lot of your space but will give a lot in return.

In addition to the announcement of the new Cosmos 1000, Cooler Master has started a contest called "Talk About Your COSMOS to WIN US$ 4000 in Prizes". The name says it all, you just have to create a written or video review of your own Cosmos chassis and get those prizes. You can check out more info about this contest here.
