If AMD goes down we have Sun

Intel says


A source close to Intel said that they expect AMD to survive the storm but if all goes bad and the company goes down Intel will still have Sun to compete with.

Things are bad for AMD but it will survive 2007, and the end of it will start looking’s better. Intel is probably stronger than it has ever been.
