The sources
very close to Intel have confirmed that Intel managed to ship over a million 45nm chips.

This number includes all quad cores, dual cores, and probably the bigger portion of the grand total were sold as server parts.

AMD managed to sell 400,000 K10's in the entire fourth quarter and Intel is definitely getting some nice numbers while playing it safe. If it doesn’t have enough 45nm parts it simply fills the channel with 65nm products and there aren't any real shortages.

Dual core server and desktop parts are certainly a big chunk of this number, but we can easily confirm that the total number of shipped 45nm chips is over one million. Good job, boys.
