Video driver causes problems

Users are reporting that Apple's new aluminum all-in-one casing has a flaw that causes the keyboard to lock-up. According to Apple Insider the iMac flaw makes the system useless until it is rebooted.

It is possible to control some basic functions from the keyboard and the mouse pointer moves but does not click on anything.Apple Insider thinks that the problem is connected to the ATI Radeon HD graphics hardware and its drivers, but so far no one has managed to get the fault working predictably.

Apple says that it is aware of the issue, but hasn't yet responded with a permanent fix. All the iMac updates have included lots of bug fixes for video drivers but none deal with this problem.
