Verbatim has launched three rather interesting ExpressCard 34 SSDs, which are apparently significantly faster than anything the competition has to offer.
While most vendors offer ExpressCard 34 storage with read and write speeds of up to 30MB/s and 10MB/s respectively, the new Verbatim drives manage up to 120MB/s and 30MB/s.
Verbatim is offering them in three capacities: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The 16GB unit sells for €60, the 32GB unit will set you back €105, and the top of the range 64GB model costs €195.
Looks like a very nice upgrade if you've got a laptop with an ExpressCard slot, and the prices are reasonable, too.
