mATX and a lot of features

Although we have seen this board first hand we were unable to take pictures of at the time, but it looks like Gigabyte decided to show of its upcoming GeForce 8200 based GA-M78UM-S2H motherboard at CES during the Nvidia event yesterday.

This is one of the first Hybrid SLI motherboards to appear and it has a rather odd layout, as not only is it a mATX board, but the x16 PCIe slot is the third slot on the board. This looks to have been done to incrase the space availabe for the graphics card in smaller cases.

It features HDMI, DVI, D-sub, eSATA, FireWire, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1-channel audio with optical S/PDIF out, five SATA, two x1 PCIe slots, a PCI slot and four memory slots. We think it will be hard to find a more feature-packed mATX board, but we could be wrong.

You can find a couple of pictures of the board here if you scroll down
