VR-Zone managed to gets a few snapshots of DFI's upcoming LANParty
Dark P55 T3eH6 motherboard based on the mainstream Intel P55 chipset. Oddly, the
board didn't get any attention at CeBIT a couple of weeks ago.
DFI has equipped this model with a 6 + 2 phase digital PWM design
which is displayed without heatsinks in the first image below. There is also a
debug LED which we have noticed to become more prevalent among newer Intel chipset
boards these days.
Additional features include four memory slots for dual-channel
DDR3, eight SATA II ports, one eSATA port, and three PCI-E 2.0 x8 slots, one of
which is routed to the P55 chipset's 8-lane PCI-E hub. As we've mentioned previously
when highlighting Intel's Ibex
Peak chipsets, P55 will support CrossFire and SLI over two PCI-E 2.0 x8
slots.
According to several sources, DFI might release this board
with the launch of the Intel P55 chipset, which is expected in July.
