DFI has announced two new budget motherboards, the LANParty DK 790X-M2RS for AMD's AM2/AM2+ CPUs and a BloodIron P45-T2(R)S Elite if you are looking for some Intel fun.

The new DK 790X-M2RS motherboard is based on AMD's 790X northbridge and SB750 southbridge and comes with four DDR2 slots with support for DDR2-1200 memory. The rest of the spec includes two PCI-Express x16 slots for some CrossfireX action, six SATA 3.0Gbps ports, Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel audio, DFI's ABS (Auto Boost System) and onboard power and reset buttons.

It is interesting to know that DFI has included the same BIOS that comes on its 790FX based motherboard and we are quite sure that this one will cope well with overclocking as well.

The BloodIron P45-T2(R)S Elite is based on Intel's P45 and has support for Intel's Core 2 Duo/Quad CPUs with a FSB  of up to 1333MHz. This one comes with four DDR2-1200 memory slots, and has a single PCI-Express x16 slot. DFI will launch two versions of this motherboard where T2RS will include RAID function. The rest of the specs include 7.1-channel audio, Gigabit LAN, six SATA 3.0 Gbps port, and ABS.

As this is an entry level motherboard it lacks features like onboard power and reset buttons, and comes with red PCB instead of the recognizable black one that can be seen on DK series. According to our information this one should easily hit over 600MHz for the bus speed which is great result for a budget motherboard.

Unfortunately, DFI did not announce a price for the DK 790X-M2RS, but the BI P45-T2(R)S should hit retail with a price tag of under US $110.
