Gigabyte's P55 UD3 loves breaking records

We’ve
come across an interesting slide showing Gigabyte’s P55 UD3 was pretty busy helping overclockers break almost every record imaginable.

The slide lists records such as highest channel DDR3 frequency 1729.8MHz * 2 = DDR3 3459.6, the highest LGA 1156 CPU Overclock (5.72GHz), fastest LGA 1156 SuperPi (7.703sec).

The slide also says that Gigabyte’s P55 UD3 is the best performance P55 board for Core i5 750 as well as Core i7 870 and lists a few other accomplishments.

Note that some records date as far as September 6th, which means that we wouldn’t be prepared to bet our money on whether those records are still standing, but nevertheless – it still proves that Gigabyte’s P55 UD3 was (and still is?) a wise investment.

You can find the slide here.
