UK iPhone likely on December 1

Amazon UK spills the beans

Someone at Amazon UK got a little bit too eager and posted information about the possible UK launch of the iPone, as the shipping date displayed alongside product information stated December 1st as the release date.

The information has since been removed from the Amazone UK website, but this information might not have been correct as the Google cache doesn't mention anything about 3G connectivity or network provider.

The retail price of £329, or US$658 seem a little bit steep for the 8GB model, even with UK VAT included.

You can find a screen grab over at Engadget and the Google cache page here
