Written by David Stellmack

Passed certification testing last Friday

It seems now that we can confirm some of what we told you the other day about Rogers getting the Blackberry Curve 8900, which has been known by the code name Javelin.

It is official that the 8900 is coming to Rogers, for sure. It did, in fact, pass Rogers’ acceptance testing last Friday. Our sources are telling us that Rogers is expected to get the first delivery of Curve 8900s later today. Rogers dealers should expect to get full details by the end of the week.

As for the pricing, our sources are suggesting that Rogers will be doing the 8900 for a promo price of $179 with a 3-year contract. We expect the retail price for the Curve 8900 to check in at about $499, according to our sources.
