126MB update that is being pushed out now

Palm is again releasing another webOS update for the Palm Pre and new Pixi. The latest version, which Sprint and Canadian provider Bell Mobility are pushing out now, comes in at 126MB and moves the webOS to version 1.3.1.

According to our sources, the biggest new features include the ability to forward or copy SMS/IM messages. Support for Yahoo! Contact and calendar sync is included, along with support for Yahoo! Instant messaging. Users will not have the ability to set different ringtones for messages. The latest update also addresses the issue with widescreen video playback.

While some are going to naturally wonder about the iTunes support, it appears that it is still broken for the time being with 1.3.1; and they have not fixed it in this update. A significant collection of additional bug fixes have also been included in this version, as well.

It looks like a very good update for those on the webOS platform and we expect that users will be excited to get all of the new features along with the fixes offered by this version.
