Nintendo had the Opera Wii browser ready for launch, but after analyzing user feedback on the beta version it decided to add a few functions and to postpone the launch till April.

As you see, delays are not always a proof of incompetence and bad planning. 

Will Nintendo keep its word and keep Opera free of charge till June 2007 is yet to be seen. At the time being we learned that Opera download should cost 5$ after June which is not that much. Updates and patches are going to be free.
