Nintendo whips Sony in console wars

DS still tops

 

    Media Create has released hardware sales figures for the week ending June 24 and confirmed that the Nintendo DS is still tops in Japan. Nintendo shipped more than 164000 DS units during the week - more than all other consoles combined.

The Wii sold 65500 units, followed by PSP with just 33000 sales.

The PS2 is still doing better than the PS3 selling 12000 consoles were sold compared to 9500. The Xbox 360 is still a joke in Japan with just under 3400 consoles shifted.
