New star joins the club

Konami has announced that Michael Owen, the same one we know as a England striker, will be the face of UK's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. As you may know, Cristiano Ronaldo is the first one.

Even the Jon Murphy, Pro Evolution Soccer Team Leader for Konami Digital Entertainment, statement that "Securing Michael Owen is a real coup for Konami", shows their satisfaction. Michale Owen stated that "PES 2008 is a fantastic game, and the only choice for pro players,", and that "It enjoys a brilliant reputation within many, many players and manages to be a true simulation of football while also being a real laugh to play."

The Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, will be shown on Leipzig GC 23rd of August, and the game should hit the shelves this autumn for PS3, 360, PC, PS2, PSP and DS.
