Infinityward
has started to accept user sign ups for the possible chance to test Beta 4 of the upcoming release of “Call of Duty 4” for Xbox 360.

The beta 4 tokens for “Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” for the Xbox 360 multiplayer beta will be only available to Xbox 360 users that live in the U.S. and have an Xbox 360 Xbox Live Gold account starting on August 27th at noon Pacific Daylight Time.

Users outside the U.S. will get a chance to sign up in early September. Of course, the sign up beta tokens will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Additional tokens will be available for users in North America and will be distributed for the beta again later in September for those who did not get in the first time around.

The release of “COD 4:MW” was confirmed in Leipzig as November 5th. This is only for the Xbox 360 version. No details were released as to the status or possible release date for the PC version.
