MSI Shanghai 07: We've tried it and seen it

MSI's GX600 gaming notebook is finally in production and it is shipping in September. It should be in the hands of MSI's etail and retail partners any day now.

We had the privilege to see MSI's factory in Kunshan, China and how the company assembles these notebooks, but unfortunately we we asked not to take any pictures. Still we managed to get some pictures of the GX600 notebook under the hood.

GX600 uses Geforce 8600GT with 512 MB and it is interesting that this overclocking notebook has a GPU integrated on the board. The notebook can be overclocked from its default 2.0GHz to 2.4GHz and you can jump from 4.9 to 5.3 in Vista CPU performance index. MSI recommends this when you play games.

Here is MR Sambora Chern the Director of Notebook sales department with MSI's GX700 baby.
