Rewind to 2005
when comic book publisher. Classic Media, sold the Turok rights to Buena Vista Games, which later became Disney Interactive. Disney has announced that it will be breathing life again into the Turok series with an announcement at E3.

The new Turok game will be released for next generation consoled systems and the dinosaur hunting will start February 5th, 2008. Now the plans have changed, and the PC version will hit the streets in February followed by the console versions for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in the spring of 2008.

Propaganda Games is handling the development of the title for Disney Interactive and it will feature the Unreal 3 engine. The new version of Turok will feature 16 player online multiplayer action, as well as a single player campaign mode. The game is targeted to be rated “M” for mature.
