Official confirmation

After awesome success with Sims, Sims 2 and various expansion packs, all eyes were on EA for the 3rd sequel. Ben Bell, EA’s executive producer, officially confirmed this in his Community Mail yesterday.

One of the new features in this sequel will be “open neighborhood,” where you’ll be free to roam at will. It means you’ll be able to go where you please, go into other people’s houses, walk around the parks and all that with no loading time.

There will also be a tool that’ll help you better arrange your furniture to make it suit your needs. DIY seems to be the best way, even in virtual worlds.

There will also be some new visual improvements and screenshots should find their way online around March the 19th.
