Starcraft, a popular real-time strategy from Blizzard Entertainment, celebrates its 10-year anniversary. The game captured minds and hearts of strategy fans, as well as some that weren’t particularly interested in this genre.

The first year saw Starcraft sell 1.5 million copies and it earned it the title of top-selling game in 1998. It’s been 10 years since then and the game has sold almost 10 million copies worldwide.

On 19th of May 2007, Blizzard announced that Starcraft 2 is in the pipes and we have no doubts in our minds that this sequel will also be a big hit.
