Steam decides to milk European customers

By pricing games the same in $/€/£

Well, Europeans (once again) won't be happy to hear that companies are taking advantage of the euro and pound being stronger than dollar, and pricing games the same in all currencies. We can't say that this is the first time we've seen such blatant robbing of European customers, as this trend was around for quite some time, but it really gets on our nerves. (Speak for yourself-sub.ed.)

Although Steam issued a statement saying how it will price games in pounds for Britain and euro in Europe, we never actually thought it will be yet another anti-European marketing campaign, yet it is.

This basically means that titles costing $49.99 will set you back €49.99 in Europe, which is at press time $69.48. Although a protest group was already formed on Steam, one thing is for certain – it sucks being a European these days.
