Tongues were wagging from our sources that let us know that apparently LucasArts has abandoned plans for an Indiana Jones title long in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to reports, the title just was not shaping up into an experience that the company felt was representative of the Indiana Jones franchise.

In another surprise sources also confirmed what we have suspected all along: developer Neversoft of Guitar Hero fame has moved on from the development of the Tony Hawk franchise. The news does not come as much of a surprise, as rumors have been flying for some time that new blood was being pumped into the title; it also was apparent that a new developer has been working on the latest installment that is expected to show up later this year.
