Steady stream of XBLA titles in the works for release

Square Enix has announced that they are working on a conversion of Crystal Defenders for Xbox Live Arcade. The defensive strategy game is a part of the ever popular Fantasy Tactics, where players do popular jobs such as being Mages or Soldiers to fend off enemies from getting the crystals.

The other title that was announced for Xbox Live Arcade was, in fact, a conversion of the puzzle game Yosumin which first appeared on the Nintendo DS.

Other than suggesting that these two titles would be coming soon, the company did not provide exact plans as to when they would see release. The company did announce that they had a steady stream of titles in the pipeline for Xbox Live Arcade that would be appearing in the marketplace in coming months.

Crystal Defenders is also in development for the Nintendo Wii for distribution via WiiWare and for the PlayStation 3 for distribution on the PlayStation Network. Square Enix did not release any specifics on when we could expect to see the release of the title on these platforms other than to say that it was in development.
