Harmonix, the company behind the game Rock Band, has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Konami and their game Rock Revolution. Some of you might remember that Konami filed a lawsuit against Harmonix last year, claiming the opposite, which would make this a payback.

This „new“ lawsuit refers to game controller patents, and Harmonix wants to block the sales of this game as well as financial compensation, quite similar to what Konami asked for last year.

We can’t say much about the outcome yet, but at least Konami will get a taste of their own medicine. Both companies declined to comment.
