Nostalgic additions

We must admit that we’re quite happy that Nintendo decided to revive some old titles with their decision to add Commodore 64 titles to their Wii Shop Channel, here. This will enable “us the nostalgic ones” to remind ourselves of the countless hours of gaming fun we’ve had, without having to scour the net for various emulators of dubious legality and functionality.

From now on, the Wii Shop Channel offers three C64 games: International Karate, The Last Ninja and Pitstop II. Anyone who’s owned Commodore 64 will recognize these as some of the best gaming titles ever, as all three were once serious gaming giants. Yes, we realize today's games have some stunning graphics, but yours truly doesn’t consider graphics to be essential in a game.

The aforementioned games are priced 500 Wii points ($5) each, which is in our opinion a small price to pay for such a noble flashback.
