Box Office Bust on track for an April release

Another one of the casualties from the Activision Vivendi merger was the latest Leisure Suit Larry game called Box Office Bust. Codemasters has announced that they have now acquired the game which they intend to release in April year.

Box Office Bust casts Larry working for his uncle at his movie studio performing odd jobs. In between the odd jobs, Larry tried to uncover a mole who is threatening to release damaging information about the studio and its actors to the tabloids. The game, of course, features all of puzzle solving craziness that the series has been famous for over the years.

The game will feature first-rate voice acting talent and all kinds of classic movie references and mini-games. The game, when released in April, will be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and of course, to the PC as well because this is where the series started.

With Codemasters picking up Box Office Bust, pretty much all of the major games that were dropped because of the Activision Vivendi merger have been picked up by another publisher.
