Fallout designer leaves Interplay

Jason Anderson, one of the original members of the Fallout design team, has left Interplay to become the creative director for inXile Entertainment for their upcoming and unannounced RPG title that is currently in development.

According to our sources Anderson will lead a second team that will be focused on the development of a new RPG title that is currently unannounced. Anderson is best known for working with Tim Cain on the development of the isometric engine, game world, and interactive interface for Fallout while at Interplay.

According to reports and our sources, Anderson was working on the Interplay V13 project, which many believe is the Fallout MMO title that Interplay retained the rights to develop while selling the rest of the franchise to Bethesda Softworks.

inXile Entertainment is being quarterbacked by Interplay founder, Brian Fargo; and Anderson leaving Interplay to move to inXile seems to be more of a homecoming, as Anderson is citing their common vision for the future as one of the major reasons he made the move.
