Bethesda solves the issues with DLC release

As we told you yesterday, Bethesda was hard at work trying to resolve the issues that plagued the initial offering of The Pitt downloadable content on Xbox Live for Fallout 3. The issues with The Pitt caused the game to be pulled temporarily, but no more, as it is once again available for download if you are willing to spend the required 800 Microsoft Points.

If you have already downloaded it, you will need to delete it from your hard drive and then re-download The Pitt again from the Xbox Live Market Place. Of course, as with pretty much anything you buy on the Xbox Live Market Place, you can re-download it again at any time if you have already paid for it.

Not much has been said so far about exactly what caused the issue, but according to several reliable sources, Bethesda was, in fact, correct that a file corruption issue is what did cause the problem the first time around.
