Dell registers Zingspot.com

Zing might be new hardware

Dell has just registered the Website Zingspot.com and taken out a trademark on the name.

The company bought Zing Systems in August, and Zingspot.com is described in the trademark as "an online consumer portal for digital entertainment content acquisition and distribution."

Zing used to make streaming audio software, so the rumor mill is that Dell is about to make some gear to run it and use Zingspot.com as a portal to distribute it. Many analysts think that an online portal for entertainment seems to be a good fit with Dell if it can come up with a good hardware to run it.
