Kinc and crotale at DreamHack

During DreamHack, the world's largest LAN Party held in Jönköping, Sweden this past weekend, Kinc and crotale, who are the most prolific and well known overclockers from Sweden, manage to break the world record twice in two days.

They started out by beating Shamino, Kingpin and hipro5 who hit 29,061 points earlier last week in Greece, but scoring 29,147. But this was aparently not good enough for the duo, so they pushed a bit harder and reached 29,325 a day later.

This is currently the standing high-score at Futuremark's new Benchmark ticker, that is until someone else manages to beat this insane score. The next goal for the duo is try to get hold of a more overclockable CPU and as they only used a QX9650, they migth be able to reach their goal of 30,000 in 3DMark06 once they get their hands on a QX9750.

You can find out a bit more about the hardware that Kinc and crotale used over at NordicHardware and you can find the Benchmark ticker here
