Eco friendly

Asus is
planning to release an eco-friendly notebook which is made of bamboo.

The eco-book will be housed in a 'renewable' bamboo casing. Any plastic parts will be recyclable and there will be no harmful paints, sprays or electroplating on its circuit boards.

According to Techdigest there is even a Components enclosure made from stiffened cardboard and easily upgradeable parts so that you can trade up rather than throw the whole thing away and buy a new one.
It will appear in the shops next year.

There is a picture here.
