The U.S. part of Acer has announced three more notebooks in its Aspire lineup that are based on its so called sapphire design, also known as the Gemstone Blue. The Aspire AS5536, AS5739G, and AS7735Z all feature 16:9 displays, Dolby surround audio and multi-gesture touchpads.

The largest of the bunch, AS7735Z is a 17.3-incher that features 2.0GHz Pentium T4200 CPU, 4GB of DDR3-1066 memory, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, 250GB HDD, 8x DVD Super Multi drive, and 802.11bgn WiFi. All of this is neatly packed into Acer's recognizable notebook that starts at US $599.99.

The 15.6-inchers, Aspire AS5536 and Aspire AS5738G are quite different and we will start of with the cheaper AS5536 which has a start price of US $479.99. It comes with a 2.1GHz clocked Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 CPU, 3GB of memory and Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics. The rest of the specs include a 320GB hard drive, 8x DVD writer, and 802.11bgn WiFi.

The more expensive, business oriented Acer Aspire AS5739G features Intel's Core 2 Duo T6500, 4GB of DDR3-1066 memory and Nvidia's Geforce GT130M with 1GB of memory. The rest of its features include a 250GB hard drive, 8x Blu-ray drive, same multi-gesture touchpad, Intel's 802.11bgn WiFi and a start price tag of US $749.99.

All three will use Acer's CineCrystal LED-Backlit display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The first two should be available immediately, while the business oriented Acer Aspire AS5739G should be available by the end of June.
