Cebit 2010: 13.3-incher with Broadcom chip

Point of View
has showcased its upcoming 13.3-inch Mobii notebook that will be based on Intel's Pinetrail platform and which should be available with a Broadcom HD decoder chip.

The new Mobii has a 13.3-inch non-glare 1366x768 resolution, and uses Intel's 1.66GHz N450 Atom CPU. It will have 2GB of memory, 250GB of HDD space, HDMI output, 802.11bgn WiFi and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The most interesting feature is Broadcom's HD decoder chip which should be connected via mini PCI-Express x1 slot and which should give the new Mobii 1080p capability. POV is still testing it and more info should be available pretty soon.

Some of the design features have been picked up from Apple, but as we were looking at a prototype some thing might be changed on a final product. The POV will do two versions based on the same platform, and the second one will have a smaller 11.6-inch screen.
