Asus' UL20FT to show up in August

Core i3 equipped ultra-thin 12.1-incher

Asus' UL20FT has been rumored about before, but Netbooknews now scored more info regarding its price and the availability date. This 12.1-incher is the successor fof the UL20A and although the chassis remained pretty much unchanged Asus has updated this one with a fresh hardware.

The new UL20FT has a 12.1-inch 1366x768 glossy screen, features Intel's integrated graphics paired up with either Celeron U3400 CPU or Intel's new Core i3-330UM clocked at 1.2GHz, up to 2GB of system memory, HDMI output, 6-cell 4,400mAh battery and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The new UL20FT has already made its appearance in Japan for 59,800 yen as well as in the US of A for US $579. The US retailer/e-tailer has also listed the estimated date of arrival to be 6th of August so it's less than month away.
