The Downfall of HD DVD

Coming to Blu-ray

A hilariously subtitled part of the controversial German movie, Der Untergang, also known as The Downfall, has found its way onto Youtube as a look at HD DVD headquarters in the final hours of "format wars."

This is definitely a "must see" video this month, and it looks as if someone has put a lot of effort into it. It shows the last minutes inside the HD DVD bunker, and the subtitled dialogues are just great. The original movie is also excellent, so in case you've missed it you might want to rent it - on the HD format of your choice, of course.

The entire community agrees that this subtitled version should be released on Blu-ray.

You can check out the video on Youtube here.
