Nvidia official GTX 570 prices

Written by Fudzilla staff

Looking good
There has been quite a bit of confusion and misinformation regarding GTX 570 pricing, so let’s clear it up once and for all.

Nvidia’s official pricing is as follows: $329 in the Land of the Free, €349 in the non-bankrupt parts of Euroland and £289 in what’s left of the British Empire.

All prices include VAT, where applicable.

Not bad at all. Would of liked the price to be closer to 300€... Right now a 480 costs about the same, but is a tiny bit faster. The 570 can be expected to be cooler and consumes less power though. Interesting to see what Cayman brings to the game.

Land of the free, is that the USA?
"The United States has less than 5 percent of the world's population. But it has almost a quarter of the world's prisoners."

This pricing seems off to me.

$329.. OK sounds cheap!
Except €349 is $467 and £289 is $456, which isn't so cheap anymore!

I just read a review which compared the GTX 570 to the 5870 in which the GTX 570 marginally beat the 5870. But! Then consider that the 5870 is available on ebuyer for £189... I'll wait until the prices settle down before I decide which team to go for to upgrade my GTX 260!

Well, would you like to see some of them on the outside? Maybe living next door?

I didn't think so.

I guess there is a bit of price gouging going on at the Egg on this card as the cheapest price listed is $349.99 and it doesn't have free shipping either, which is another $7.87. So much for MSRP.
