Brazos platform on 15.6-incher

Techpowerup managed to score a picture of MSI's upcoming 15.6-inch CR650 notebook based on AMD's Brazos platform.

As it is based on the AMD Brazos platform, the MSI CR650 features AMD Fusion E-350 dual-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz with AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6300 series graphics. The rest of the features is still unknown but it is clear that this one will have a D-Sub and HDMI outputs, integrated HD webcam, HD audio with DSP and MSI's ECO Engine technology.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait a bit longer to see the precise specs for this one, but we are sure that MSI will show it at CES 2011 in January. You can find more here.

MSI is using the "Brazos" graphics moniker. "Vision" doesn't seems to be enough.

Maybe AMD should try to find a better commercial name.

I'll be waiting to see just what market segment AMD hopes to conquer with this notebook.
From what's listed here, this seems to be (more or less) a fifteen-inch netbook/notebook hybrid.

CULV laptops, all day computing on a single charge with a normal battery pack. I personally like the idea as my current laptop only goes about 2.5 hours.
