Love digs herself into a Hole
Kurt Cobain's former wife Courtney Love, has become the first celebrity to be sued over comments the social notworking site Twitter.

Love described Dawn Simorangkir, a Texas-based fashion designer, as a "drug pushing prostitute" during a row  over payment for clothes. Simorangkir apparently took offence at that and now plans to take a gate, and a large amount of cash to go with it.

The lawsuit alleges that Love "embarked on what is nothing short of an obsessive and delusional crusade to destroy Simorangkir's reputation and her livelihood." She accuses Love of "spreading vile and vicious lies through marathon rants" on social networking platforms.

Simorangkir claims false statements published by Love damaged her career and may have cost her millions of dollars.  After all we all believe what Courtney Love says as it were written in the Bible.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how far this goes so far defamation law has not caught up with social notworking and we expect that an elderly Judge will have to have it explained to him.
