Dead Space studio working on new IP

No clue on what kind of title it might be
Sources are confirming to us that Dead Space developer Visceral Studios is building up a new team that will be responsible for working on a brand new IP offering from the developer. The new IP is said to be something bold that has hefty backing from the leadership at Electronic Arts.

We have no clue what Visceral might be planning beyond knowing that it will be an “AAA” offering that is slated to be a new franchise that hopefully will be successful for the developer.

The studio that is responsible for the Dead Space franchise also released Dante’s Inferno approximately May of last year, so it is impossible to predict the genre of what this new IP might be, as the studio has released different types of games in the past. We doubt that it is a sports game or a racing game, but as one source told us, beyond those two genres everything else is wide open.

What could it be? It may not have sth to do with graphics thought. It could be sth for the game engine for example.
