Now that Homefront has been released and has shipped over 2.4+ million copies so far, both publisher THQ and developer Kaos Studios are already looking at the future of the franchise.

Recently, THQ’s Danny Bilson has said that “we have plans to make sure that Homefront continues to differentiate itself from other games in the shooting genre with future releases.” While nothing is confirmed at this point, we can tell you that it is a pretty safe bet that we will see a sequel to Homefront, and the sequel will be much more focused on the “guerrilla warfare” aspect in the next chapter of the franchise.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, we do think that THQ and Kaos learned a lot from Homefront and we expect that franchise will continue in the future using all of the knowledge that they have gained so far.
