iPad 2 still immune to jailbreak

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Works for iPad 1 and iPhone 4
Those few million lucky and quick ones who got their hands on an iPad 2 are still doomed to use only Apple approved applications.

You can simply forget about jailbreak as it looks like iPad 2 is the best locked device from Apple so far. The hard working chaps from Dev-team have just released untethered jailbreak for both 4.3.1 and latest 4.3.2 kernel. The 4.3.2 untethered works on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM), iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G and iPad 1 but not the iPad 2.

If you still want to buy iPad 2, then you will have to wait between two to three weeks after you place your online order and this is the wait timefor most big European countries and USA. Remember the one you buy cannot use Cydia and alternative applications.

If you need it you can get it here.

A "jailbreak" lol what a scam. How about an end to locked hardware? I never had to "jailbreak" a PC.

I believe there is always a compromise between personal interest(s) and a society's interest(s). In case of Apple they choose "society" side of the equation and it worked for them. PC on the other hand holds "personal" part of the equation. My guess is that Apple products are so popular because for a long time "personal" interests were a priority and "social" interests were ignored...

What is society interest ?
do you mean it's in interest of the society if i write a program then I had to bribe Steve & Co so they approve it
for use on Apple devices ?
