Max IOPS edition for 75,000 IOPS
OCZ has updated its SSD offer with yet another member of the Vertex 3 lineup, the Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition. Unlike the regular Vertex 3, this one is tweaked to offer 4KB random write perfromance of up to 75,000 IOPS.

The new Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition is still based on the Sandforce SF-2200 controller and uses SATA 6Gbps interface but offers increased 4KB random write performance thanks to few tweaks, so it is capable of reaching 75,000 IOPS, which is a nice boost from the 60,000 on the regular Vertex 3.

The new one will be available in 120 and 240GB capacities and is currently listed in Europe for €256,83 for the 120GB one and €464,42 for the 240GB one. You can check them all out here.
